LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) - Firehouse Subs is donating money to Lake City firefighters to purchase life-saving equipment.

Fire rescue officials purchased brand-new air tanks, all thanks to a $39,000 grant.

Officials from the Firehouse Subs’ Public Safety Foundation gave them that money Saturday afternoon.

Lake City firefighters said the tanks will help them breathe easier and save more lives while responding to fires.
