NATCITOCHES, La. (KALB) - The Northwester State Demons opened Southland Conference play by hosting the East Texas A&M Eagles for homecoming.

The Demons had just 66 rushing and 124 passing yards compared to the Eagles 261 rushing and 271 passing yards.

Northwestern State fell to East Texas A&M 40-10 on homecoming.

NSU dropped to 1-4 on the season and will be on the road next week at Houston Christian for another SLC matchup.
