ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are investigating after two men were hospitalized following an early morning incident on the city’s north side.
Just after 4 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the area of Evergreen Street and Conkey Avenue for reports of a man possibly shot. When they arrived, they found a 34-year-old Rochester man lying in the street.
He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where medical staff determined he had at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. Police said he remains in critical condition.
A short distance away, another man was found with a cut to his upper body. He was also taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
