A man has been arrested after a shooting in Sydney's inner-west with one person taken to hospital with a gunshot wound.
Streets at Croydon Park were closed and the area put in lockdown on Sunday night as police launched a major operation.
They said while investigations were ongoing a man was arrested at about 9.30pm on a building on Georges River Road and firearms were seized.
"At this stage, police have been told a man was taken to Canterbury Hospital suffering a gunshot wound," a statement said.
"A number of other people have reported injuries."
Road closures in the area remain in place.
