East Syracuse, N.Y. — Two men were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning at a party in East Syracuse, police said.

Around 3:34 a.m., officers responded to 225 Johnson St. after multiple 911 callers reported shots were fired at a party, according to Jerry Pace, a spokesperson for the DeWitt Police Department.

When police arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the upper leg, Pace said. He was taken by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital.

At 3:49 a.m., the Upstate University Police Department notified DeWitt police that a second gunshot victim had been dropped off at the hospital, Pace said. The man sustained injuries to the legs, he said.

Pace said both victims are receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
