PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An overnight stabbing left a man dead in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix Saturday morning.

At 3:18 a.m., first responders were dispatched to the area of 46th Street and Devonshire Avenue for a report of a domestic violence incident.

Police arrived and found one man, identified as 50-year-old Erick Michael Chapman, injured from a stab wound in the front yard. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man was detained on scene and reportedly admitted to being involved in the stabbing.

The man, whom police did not identify, was transported to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Once the man was released from the hospital, he was transported to Phoenix Police Headquarters to be interviewed by detectives.

After the interview, he was released
