Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Sunday pitched for stronger investment, tourism, and trade partnerships between Madhya Pradesh and Assam during the ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh’ interactive session held at Hotel Radisson Blu in Guwahati.

Speaking to media persons, Yadav described Guwahati as “India’s gateway to the East” and highlighted Assam’s potential as a strategic partner for industrial and tourism collaborations.

“Assam’s capital Guwahati, which is India’s entrance door — in a way, the east-west of India — holds immense possibilities in sectors like petrochemicals, cement, food processing, tea, pharma, tourism, and wellness,” said Yadav.
