Comedian Alan Carr has said that people will see a "different side" to him when he appears on The Celebrity Traitors.

In the celebrity version of the hit BBC competition show, set to launch on October 8, Carr said that there will be “no comedy” involved in his bid to win.

The 49-year-old comedian and TV personality will appear as part of a cast of 19 famous faces, including Thursday Murder Club star Celia Imrie, retired Olympic diver Tom Daley and actor Sir Stephen Fry, when the show launches next week.

When asked whether he had a strategy for the game, Alan Carr said: “There will be a different side to me. I’ll have to adapt; no comedy, it’s one of those shows where you have to shape-shift. View 3 Images
