LONDONDERRY, N.H. —

A Hudson man who was clocked going more than 100 mph on Interstate 93 was arrested after a crash trying to flee troopers, state police said.

New Hampshire State Police said around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, a trooper tried to stop a BMW he clocked going 118 mph on I-93 in Londonderry.

The BMW got off at Exit 5, increased speed and passed other vehicles in an attempt to elude the trooper, state police said. The trooper did not pursue the vehicle, authorities said.

Troopers shortly after found the BMW on Old Derry Road in Londonderry when the driver lost control, went off the road, hit a rock wall, causing significant damage to the property and vehicle, state police said.
