(WHTM) — The Nittany Lions fell out of the AP Top 25 poll after their loss to the unranked UCLA.

The Nittany Lions, who were previously ranked No. 7 in the country, suffered their second straight loss to the winless Bruins at the Rose Bowl in California.

The Bruins, led by quarterback Nico Iamaleava, had one of the worst offenses in the country, but drove down the field on the game’s first possession with an 11-play drive that resulted in an 11-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Kwazi Gilmer.

UCLA then shocked Penn State with an onside kick attempt that got them the ball back, and the Bruins never looked back, eventually coming out with the 42-37 win.
