DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Huber Haunts event is in full swing at the Rose Music Center this Sunday.

The massive free trunk and treat event features music, scares from Hell's Dungeon, a costume contest, a LEGO contest, a monster truck, inflatable houses, a scavenger hunt and over 220 vendors. It will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The vehicles are competing in a decorating contest; the top two decorators will win $500 and a trophy.

Organizers said over 5000 people attended in 2024, which was one of the main reasons why it was moved to the Rose this year.

2 NEWS met up with Mayor Jeff Gore, who was excited about the event’s success.

“Halloween is a lot bigger deal than people give it credit to be. The city has done a really great job in putting this on,” said Gore.
