Police investigated a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Comfort Suites at 2:05 a.m. Sept. 24 and cited the 20-year-old driver when “the strong odor of burning marijuana and smoke [was] detected coming from the vehicle.” Police searched the car and marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found. The driver was cited for misuse of a parking lot, drug abuse and drug paraphernalia possession, and he and his 20-year-old passenger were released.
