The Carolina Panthers defeated the Miami Dolphins 27-24 on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

The Panthers trailed 17-0 midway through the second quarter before a touchdown pass from Bryce Young to Xavier Legette and a field goal from Ryan Fitzgerald gave the Panthers their first points of the game.

Carolina would take the lead twice in the fourth quarter. The first go-ahead touchdown happened on a long drive, capped off by a 1-yard touchdown plunge by Rico Dowdle, who had 206 yards on the ground after getting the start over the injured Chubba Hubbard in the backfield.
