Ohio - The Early Voting period for Ohio's 2025 November General Election is almost underway.

Registration to vote early is available until Monday at 8 p.m. and the early voting period kicks off the next morning, on Tuesday.

Stephanie Penrose, Director of the Trumbull County Board of Elections, worries about a low turnout, with her estimation sitting at 20%. "Unfortunately, these local races don't get the same turnout the presidential or governor's races do," says Penrose.

However, she does expect some added interest in the Cortland due to an additional levy on the ballot.

If you're not interested in voting early, but still want an absentee ballot, registration is available until October 28th. Registration for all forms of voting is available in-person at your local Board of Elections
