AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A Silver Alert was issued for a 68-year-old man who police believe has medical conditions and undiagnosed memory loss, and was last seen in east Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.

APD said Enrique Ramirez Leon, 68, was last seen leaving in his wife’s vehicle in the 1100 block of Mansell Avenue around 5 a.m. Sunday.

Police described Leon as a 6-foot-tall, Spanish-speaking man with brown eyes, weighing 200 pounds. Leon was last seen wearing a dark blue button-up shirt and dark blue jeans.

APD said Leon’s vehicle is described as a Grey 2012 Chevrolet Malibu with chipped paint on top of the trunk and roof.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to call 911.
