CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WNCN) -- The Carolina Panthers kept things interesting until the end, picking up their second win of the season after beating Miami, 27-24.

The Dolphins got on the board first with a 43-yard field goal from Riley Patterson. De’Von Achane extended the lead on a 10-yard touchdown pass from Tua Tagovailoa.

Carolina’s first two drives ended in mistakes — Bryce Young fumbled at Miami’s 36-yard line, and on the next possession, he was intercepted on a deep ball intended for Xavier Legette.

Miami capitalized, going up 17–0 after Tagovailoa connected with Darren Waller for a four-yard touchdown.

The Panthers finally broke through in the second quarter when Young found Legette for a seven-yard touchdown strike.

Momentum swung in Carolina’s favor to start the second half. Rico
