The Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners meet for the second time on Sunday night, as the American League Divisional Series continues.

The opening game between the Tigers and Mariners is exactly what fans had seen from Detroit in the Wild Card Series. Tight defense, solid pitching and timely offense, Saturday night’s game was a thrilling one from all aspects. It ended up being the first game of the LDS to go into extras. It seemed like neither team was going to be able to pull ahead, until Zack McKinstry drove in Spencer Torkelson in the top of the 11th. Keider Montero came in the bottom half of the frame to pick up the save, sealing a 3-2 win for the visitors.
