NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - It's been a rainy and stormy weekend as rain chances continue for much of Sunday into the evening.

Taking a look at FUTURECAST to give you a better idea as to where and when:

The heaviest rain on Sunday will be over the coastal areas along the Sound and Gulf coast of both southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi, but you won't see things lighten up until the late evening hours around 11 p.m. and don't get too excited as more storms are on the way for Monday...

Both the Coastal Flood Advisory and Small Craft Advisory are expected to expire at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Breezy conditions will stay with us though as we see wind gusts up to 22-mph in Gulfport at 8:30 p.m. and nearing the 20-mph mark in Empire.
