The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a man they say is connected with an ongoing larceny investigation.

According to police, the man was caught on camera stealing four packages from a porch on Elm Street in Charlestown just before midnight on Saturday, September 14.

Police say they are looking for a white man, who was filmed wearing a white Bruins hat, a Celtics jersey, and a white undershirt.

Anyone with information that could help police catch the porch pirate is asked to reach out to District A-1 detectives at (617)343-4571. Callers are allowed to remain anonymous.

BPD officers were sent to Cheney Street in Roxbury around 9 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, to a report of a stabbing.
