The Berlin Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center completed a multimillion-dollar renovation.

The extensive renovation involved updates to 17,000 square feet of the center, which provides post-hospital care, short-term rehabilitation and long-term residential care, according to a statement .

The project modernized the facility’s lobby, sub-acute wing and patient rooms while the facility continued to operate.

A centerpiece of the renovation is the newly expanded rehabilitation therapy gym, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology for progressive rehabilitation services.

The facility also added a daily living suite that mimics a home environment with a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The suite allows patients to practice essential skills before returning home.
