PHILADELPHIA − There were several penalties that were either called or not called that could have contributed to the Eagles ' 21-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Oct. 5.

The most egregious included an unnecessary roughness call on Zack Baun on a 3rd-and-2 from the Eagles' 29 with just over 2 minutes left. The play itself fell a yard short on Bo Nix's pass to RJ Harvey.

Harvey was down on the ground when Baun hit him. The resulting first down enabled the Broncos to drain another minute off the clock while forcing the Eagles to use their remaining timeouts. Buy Philadelphia Eagles tickets
