It was a gunshot wound to the torso that killed Dominick Skinner, 31, following an altercation on the morning of Oct. 1 in York City, according to the county coroner’s office.
The manner of death was homicide, the coroner’s office said in a report released Sunday evening.
Skinner, of Dallastown, was shot and killed by 24-year-old Romanus Myers around 8 a.m. Wednesday along the 600 block of East Princess Street.
Police said Skinner and Myers, who knew each other, had been involved in a fight before the shooting took place. When police arrived, they found Skinner with a gunshot wound and also found Myers, who told investigators he shot Skinner.
The victim was transported to WellSpan York Hospital for emergency life-saving treatment, but died around two hours later. Sunday’s report note
