SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks lost a tough one against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38-35 at Lumen Field.
Here are three takeaways from the loss:
Turnovers hurt
Over Seattle's last seven possessions of the game, they scored five times sandwiched between two turnovers. The first one was a fumble near mid-field on a botched pitch by backup quarterback Jalen Millroe. Tampa turned that into their first touchdown of the game. Then Seattle ripped off five touchdowns in a row.
In their last possession, Sam Darnold and the Hawks were unlucky. A pass deflected off the helmet of a defensive lineman and the Bucs picked off the ball. That turnover led to Tampa's game-winning field goal as time expired.
Second half adjustments
Both teams made some key adjustments on offense at halftime.
