Burglary, Renwood Avenue

Police responded to an attempted burglary at a home at 3:20 p.m. Sept. 23. Police found a glass door shattered in the house and the homeowner said a safe was missing from the home.

Warrant, Center Road

Police responded to a possibly intoxicated couple arguing inside a car at 6:09 a.m. Sept. 20. One of the persons involved was found to have a warrant out of the Elyria Police Department. He was arrested and turned over to Elyria Police.

Fraud, North Sandy Lane

A woman told police a $5,200 check on her bank account was cashed by an unknown person between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12. The case was still under investigation at the time of the report.
