AMES, Iowa —

After Iowa State's brutal loss at Cincinnati on Saturday , the Cyclones took a dramatic slide down the rankings.

On Sunday, the AP Top 25 poll ranked Iowa State at No. 22, down eight spots from last week's No. 14. This is the lowest the Cyclones have been ranked since Week 1, when they were also ranked at No. 22.

The Cyclones (5-1, 2-1 Big 12) are back on the road this weekend at Colorado (2-4, 0-3 Big 12).
