NEW ORLEANS, La. (KLFY) -- The New Orleans Saints secured their first win since 2024 after defeating the New York Giants 26-14 on Sunday.

This victory marks a significant victory for both head coach Kellen Moore and rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler. Rattler would earn his first win as an NFL starter while Moore earned his first win as a head coach.

Brandon Staley's defensive unit was instrumental in the Saints' victory, forcing five consecutive turnovers against the Giants' rookie quarterback Jaxon Dart. This defensive prowess helped the Saints overcome a 14-3 deficit in the second quarter.

"Really good job by our guys, just resiliency. It hasn't been easy for our guys, but they hung in there and competed the whole game," said Moore.
