Josh Allen threw it away. A Bills fan made sure he broke a record for yards after the catch.

On first-and-goal to open the second half against the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football, Allen sailed a pass into the first row of the end zone at Highmark Stadium. A fan wearing a No. 58 Matt Milano jersey snagged the ball and immediately sprinted up the steps toward the concourse, apparently planning to make a break for it with the souvenir.

NBC cameras tracked his every move, and play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico had some fun treating it like an in-game highlight.
