A crime scene has been established and homicide squad detectives are investigating after a man's body was found on the NSW far south coast.
Authorities were called to East Street in Bega around 2am on Monday and found the body in a nearby park.
Homicide detectives are yet to formally identify the man, who is believed to be aged in his 40s.

Forensic officers combed the site, in an area of Bega known as the Glebe, on Monday morning.
Authorities are analysing evidence, including an apparently abandoned car found on a nearby road and broken glass.
