Oliver Crane grew up on a farm in Western Australia and was always drawn to machinery.
His passion would see him race a personalised red and blue car at Kalgoorlie's speedway in 2001.
But life took a cruel turn for Oliver and his family after his first race, and he wouldn't get behind the wheel again.
He was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer, and passed away when he was 17.

Originally farming in Lake King, Oliver's mum Sue said they decided to move to York in 2011 because it was too hard to remain at the property without Oliver.
For the past two decades, the Crane family have been collecting and refurbishing vintage Steiger tractors, which are now on display in a museum built on their property.
