MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Over 7,000 Memphis Light, Gas, and Water customers are without power in the Hickory Hill area Sunday night, according to the company.

The MLGW power outage map shows a total of 7,593 customers affected.

MLGW released a statement saying, "We're aware of the outage in the area of Winchester Road and Kirby Parkway. Our crews are investigating and working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power."

At this time, it is still unclear what caused the outages.

Call 544-6500 or use your MLGW My Account to report power outages. Call 528-4465 to report emergencies like downed powerlines or gas leaks.
