Seattle – It’s a best of three series now.

Back-to-back doubles off reliever Kyle Finnegan in the bottom of the eighth broke a 2-2 tie and sent the Seattle Mariners to a 3-2 victory at T-Mobile Park Sunday, squaring the American League division series at a game each.

The series moves to Comerica Park for Games 3 and 4 Tuesday and Wednesday.

It was an impressive response by the Mariners after they lost the series opener and had to battle presumptive Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal in Game 2.

They had just gifted the Tigers a pair of runs to tie the score in the top of the eighth. With one out in the bottom half, Cal Raliegh and Julio Rodriguez, who had been held in check by Skubal, lashed doubles. The Mariners still had runners at the corners with one out but Rodriguez was out at th
