(KBTX) - Texas A&M volleyball notched their seventh straight victory after sweeping Alabama in three sets (25-19, 25-9, 25-18) Sunday afternoon. The Aggies improve to 4-0 in SEC play.

Why did Texas A&M win? After a taking the first set 25-19, the Aggies had control of the match after taking the second set 25-9.

Who stood out? Aggies’ Emily Helmuth led with 12 kills while Logan Lednicky had 11 in the match. Maddie Waak totaled 12 digs.

What does this mean going forward? Aggie Volleyball is one of four teams to have an undefeated record in conference.

What’s next? A&M hosts No. 3 Kentucky Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
