MURRAY – The Governor’s Office announced last week that the Calloway County Fiscal Court is set to receive $550,000 from the County and City Bridge Improvement Program to replace the bridge on Graham Road.

The Graham Road replacement was one of 17 projects announced by Gov. Andy Beshear on Thursday as part of the fourth round of funding from the state’s County and City Bridge Improvement Program. A state news release said the funding for the 17 “critical bridge projects” total $7.75 million, and the projects are spread across 13 Kentucky counties and three cities. Beshear said that since the first round of funding was announced in 2025, $32.6 million has been awarded to local governments to address bridges that are closed, have posted weight restrictions or are in need of repair.
