Mt Hawthorn has emerged as Perth’s most tightly held retail strip in the latest annual Ray White review, which reveals improvements across all major high streets.
In an assessment of 581 shopfronts across eight retail strips, encompassing about 82,000sqm of retail space, the Scarborough Beach Road precinct had the lowest vacancy rate.
The strip has only one empty shop among 75, which is a vacancy rate of 0.85 per cent.
Ray White agent and report author Brett Wilkins said the study showed all of Perth’s major retail strips were bouncing back with improved vacancy rates.
“Although online sales grew substantially in recent times, these levels have now stabilised,” the report said.
