Jammu: A 3.6 magnitude earthquake occurred in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, and the authorities said that no casualties or damage to property were reported from anywhere so far.
Statistics released by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said that an earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale occurred in the union territory at 2.47 a.m.
“The epicentre of the earthquake was in the Doda region of Jammu and Kashmir, and it occurred at a depth of 5 km inside the earth’s crust.

“The latitude of the quake was 33.10 degrees north, and the longitude was 76.18 degrees east. There has been no report of any casualty or damage to property from anywhere so far,
