No. 14-ranked Missouri football will return to Southeastern Conference play this upcoming Saturday, Oct. 11, with a home matchup against No. 8 Alabama on Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri.

It will be the first time Mizzou has hosted a game between two teams ranked in the top 15 of the AP Top 25 since September 1979 — more than 46 years.

The Tigers (5-0, 1-0 SEC) head into the game after their first of two idle weeks this season. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz’s team opened the season with five straight wins, which the Tigers have only done two other times since joining the SEC in 2012.
