NEILLSVILLE − The Highground, W7031 Ridge Road in Neillsville, is hosting a Halloween celebration Oct. 29, featuring a blood drive and trunk-or-treat event.

The festivities will run from noon to 7 p.m., according to a community announcement.

The blood drive, coordinated by the Red Cross, will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Donors can schedule an appointment by contacting Bonnie at The Highground or visiting redcrossblood.org . Power Red donations, which allow donors to give two units of red blood cells, are especially encouraged for those with blood types A negative, B negative or O.
