MADISON – The battle for the Heartland Trophy is a one-side affair these days.

Iowa has won the last three meetings with Wisconsin and four of the last five. And for the Badgers , the losses haven’t been close. Four came by at least 14 points, two by at least 21 points.

Last year’s 42-10 Iowa victory in Iowa City was the Hawkeyes’ most lopsided win in the series since a 41-0 victory in 1968.

The teams will meet for the 99 th time Saturday, Oct. 11 at Camp Randall (6:05 p.m. kickoff). The oddsmakers expect a much closer affair this time. Iowa is an early 3½-point favorite.
