A 33-year-old man, Wilson Kondwani, has committed suicide by hanging himself from the roof of his house in Chikwawa for reasons that are currently unknown.

Chikwawa police spokesperson Sergeant Dickson Matemba said the incident occurred on October 5, 2025 in Mastard village, Tomali market.

He said the deceased’s wife went to the village to drop off the man at home but she only received a message that the man had committed suicide.

Meanwhile, police are appealing to members of the public to share their concerns with them so that they can receive appropriate assistance.
