ATLANTA — Cam Newton is taking his competitive drive off the football field and into the world of media. The former NFL MVP is now a full-time content creator and media entrepreneur, expanding his 26,000-square-foot production studio in South Fulton under the banner of his company, Iconic Saga, which he founded more than a decade ago.

The studio is home to his popular podcasts Funky Friday and 4th and 1.

“This is not a hobby. This is far beyond a passion. This is actual work,” Newton told 11Alive during a visit to his Atlanta studio.

Newton’s vision goes beyond his own shows. He plans to open a third sound stage inside Iconic Saga as a creative space for other local artists and storytellers, giving them the opportunity to produce content and share their voices.
