A former car salesman has advised drivers to pack five essential items in their vehicles. Sharing his advice on TikTok as @ capturing_cars , the car photographer and ex-car salesman titled his video: "5 things to carry in your car in case of emergency."

He explained: "Here are five things that you should always try to carry in your car in case of an emergency. Starting first of all, of course, with the thing in fifth place, which is a blanket, water and snacks.

"Now, of all the other things on this list, these are the ones that you are least likely to need. I can only think of one occasion where I personally could have done with these.
