A man who won £1million on a Lottery scratchard was hospitalised unable to breathe or walk after quitting his job and partying for three months. Adam Lopez, 39, quit his job as a builder after his win three months ago.

But he has been hospitalised with a pulmonary embolism. H e had to be rushed to Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital by ambulance. Adam said: "I knew what I was doing was going to come to an end eventually, and it nearly came to an end in the worst possible way. It was a massive, massive wake-up call."
