BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. — Butte County Public Works has announced a road repair project on Lime Saddle Campground Road, scheduled to begin this October. The project will address damage from the 2023 winter storms.

Starting October 13 and running through October 21, the repair work will involve fixing an embankment and stormwater system. Due to the narrow roadway and the need for heavy rock placement, the road will be closed during specific hours for safety and efficiency.

The road will be closed from sunrise until noon and again from 12:30 p.m. until sunset, Monday through Friday. It will briefly open from noon to 12:30 p.m. each day.

The closures have been coordinated with California State Parks, resulting in the temporary closure of Lime Saddle Campground and Nelson Bar Boat Ramp. This
