Sunday afternoon, around 12:20 p.m., the Dallas Police Department said officers responded to a shooting outside a restaurant in Victory Park in the 3000 block of Nowitzki Way that left a female in critical condition.

According to a manager at the restaurant Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, they confirmed over the phone that the victim is an employee who worked as a hostess and was shot outside of the business.

Police said the suspect and the victim know each other. Authorities did not state how the two know each other or either of their identities, but a restaurant employee said the young female and the suspect are in a relationship.
