Authorities are investigating a deadly stabbing that occurred early Monday morning in Fall River, Massachusetts.
Fall River police received a 911 call around 2:15 a.m. Monday from someone saying that a person had been stabbed and killed at an address on Chesworth Street, the Bristol District Attorney's Office said.

When they arrived, Fall River police and EMS located a 53-year-old male with an injury to his chest. He was taken to Charlton Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The district attorney's office said a suspect is in custody.
