Five youths have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash in North Dumfries.
Waterloo Regional Police said the crash occurred Monday at about 12:35 a.m., when the driver lost control of the vehicle on Clyde Road, near Clydebank Drive, before it left the road and hit a hydro pole.
The driver, a 15-year-old Cambridge boy, and four passengers, two 14-year-old boys and two 15-year-old boys, all from Cambridge, were taken by ambulance and air ambulance to hospital.
The intersection remains closed for the investigation and hydro repairs, police said.
