CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — The West Virginia Department of Human Services has introduced a new digital platform designed to improve communication and cooperation within the state’s foster care system.

The Communication & Operations Mobile Engagement Tool (COMET), launched in partnership with Cardinality, provides a secure, centralized space for foster parents, caseworkers, attorneys, and service providers to share information and track updates. The goal is to reduce delays and prevent miscommunication to ensure children and families receive timely, consistent support.
