CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) announced Monday that permits for Class N limited permit areas have been mailed to hunters.
Applicants may also check their permit status by logging into their WVDNR account at WVhunt.com .
"Lottery hunts play an essential role in managing deer populations where extra harvest is needed and in maintaining the health of our forests and wildlife," said WVDNR Director Brett McMillion. "We congratulate those selected and encourage every hunter to be prepared and enjoy the tradition of hunting in West Virginia this fall."
Hunters must remember that state deer hunting regulations apply to all controlled hunts. Receiving a permit does not exempt them from purchasing a hunting license. All participants must h
