Steven Gerrard is set to give a rare extended media appearance amid firm links with the vacant post at Rangers . ‌

The Liverpool legend and former Ibrox boss has generally kept a low profile in the UK since heading to Saudi Arabia to manage Al-Ettifaq in 2023. ‌

He's popped up with occasional punditry appearances but has remained tight-lipped on his future – not since April has he spoken about a possible return to management when he played down his chances of an immediate return to work. ‌
