Britney Spears suffered a gruesome knee injury after falling down the stairs at a friend’s house.

The “Gimme More” singer took to Instagram over the weekend to share a video of herself dancing in a sparkly mini dress, nude heels and white fingerless gloves.

However, the pop star had a bandage wrapped around her right knee.

In the caption of her post, Spears, 43, explained the apparent injury to her fans after explaining that her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James , had left to travel back to Hawaii.

“This is the way I express myself and pray through art … father who art in heaven … I’m not here for concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and be better … and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day !!!” she wrote.
